You can unlock your Desire HD using unlock code from Mobile-unlocker.com ,and unlock it from the locked AT&T network.

Do you have a kitchen unlocker as well ?
The doors locked and I seem to have left the key in a handag, it's a Thomas the Tank Engine one if that helps.
