I've got a picture somewhere of me when I grew a beard/tache for the movember thing the other year.

This is the mid 'tache phase, just as it was starting to itch.

 

The more I look at these pictures, the more I notice ginger hairs appearing within the beard. :O

Ugh! That's hideous! Although the distortion and tight crop are probably what makes it unflattering. And more northerner looking.

Definitely prefer the other photo.

I like that one, it's possibly the only time I've been photogenic.

 

I believe I feigned the retarded look on that photo, or then again it could just have been a bad caffeine free morning.

 

I think I've got a picture of the final trimmed uber-tache as well, I'll see if I can dig it out when I get home.

That's a most flattering picture of me, though this photo I'm thinking of with the moustache does make me look rather twatish suave.

Moustaches do seem to have that effect.

It takes a lot to carry off a convincing moustache. For starters, you need to be at least 50. Looking like Sam Elliot also helps. Beards offer more flexibilty (and shelter).

Feck, haven't got the picture at home, must be on my work PC somewhere. Pretty sure it must be there, 'cos there's a les res version of it I set as my profile pic on the ol' intranet. I'll have to get it tomorrow.

 

Now, if only I could remember where it is that I work... :-|
