I like AppEngine

I've got the web service part of my project uploaded onto AppEngine and I've started tweaking the WPF application to talk to it. It's been pretty easy, apart from the whole creating-a-VirtualBox-Linux and learning-Python thing*.

Once you get the SDK working, it's a piece of piss to develop against, and when you want to upload to the actual servers you type "appcfg update appdir" and it just does it.

So, now to get the Windows app finished and then I've got to create the front-end website in Django and bang out a phone app.

*The other slightly bizarre thing is that I keep trying to use vi commands in Word, Outlook and this here textbox.

It's not quite so killer any more. I've reduced the killerness in favour of ever actually getting it done.

No, I'm not happy now. Question not answered.
