Teh Forum: Odd behavior

Is there something going on with Teh Forum?

It's almost like I'm getting logged out between frames. When I go from the start page to the message board, the left frame follows my style viewing preferences, but the right frame reverts to the Beehive default. Also, no edit link on my posts for me to make corrections, if I need to, making it appear I'm not logged into the right frame, but I can post. :/

I'm running IE7 on a Gateway.

Hmm. I just posted a reply to Kos and it left the editor open (but clear) and posted the reply in a new window. (IE8).

Edit: and this time, 5 minutes later, it didn't.

Well, now I know it's not just me getting strange behavior. Maybe they're working on something. Some times, when we're working on stuff, hof goes a little nuts too.

I'm never sure whether I should post this, but is the server running slowly at the moment (and for the last ferw weeks/months)? I could put it down to being on the wrong side of the world, but I just had a quick look at The Kave's forum, and it ran a lot quicker. Clicking on the thread pane here takes a good ten seconds to load the thread, and loading the site into a new tab can take twice that long.

I haven't been noticing any major slowness.

It goes through bouts of slowness for me. Some of them pretty pronounced. It was pretty much unusable the day before yesterday for example. I'm pretty sure it's the server rather than the software.

It's consistently slow for me. I generally have Teh open in one tab, and Google Reader in another to read while I'm waiting for a thread to load.

Well you haven't posted in ages.

I just went and checked, and before today only one other post in the whole of June (in the iPhone thread which I wasn't paying much attention to).

You posted much more in May. :C

That was before he got his 300 baud modem.
