Is there any point in keeping this folder visible?
Anyone know when Trig last stuck his head round the door?

It should be nuked, and while were at it, what's the difference between General and Idle Chit Chat? It's not as if this is a dedicated PC Geek forum anymore (even though that's what most of us are). They should be merged together really, it's not as if it's so busy that we need lots of folders to keep on top of things.

Mainly because it looks messy and it seems a bit redundant having folders that never get used. look at the news folder. That's never been used in an age, it may as well be gone too. :D

The News folder was for the auto-created-from-RSS threads which instantly overflowed with Register articles and suppressed all the normal threads.

General is for starting discussions which aren't on-topic for any of the other folders. Idle Chit-chat is for announcing to the forum at large that you are having a cheese sandwich.
