Numpty here has, Automatic Updates and System Restore switched firmly OFF.
But numpty got a Media Player update that he downloaded and tryed to install.
Media Player dont work no more and I cant even re-install Media Player 10, without getting a Windows error.
Winamp & Traktor Dj Studio 2 it is then.
My good, bad.

You could try using System Restore to roll back to before the Media Player update was installed and see if that fixes things. It might at least let you re-install Media Player again to get it working.

he could if he didn't have "System Restore switched firmly OFF"

Trig: for the future, you can manually create a restore point efore messing with shit like this, in case it all goes tits up.

I missed that bit, guess I skimmed over Trig's post too fast. :-$

Oh well, silly Trig then! Although personally I'd consider the loss of WMP to be a blessing rather than a curse, but I really can't be arsed with another WMP versus Winamp debate :)

Whos talking about a WinAMP , Media Player debate?
Noone.
I should have stuck with WinAMP actually. MP is too slow, while WA has a "Play Folder option", which rules.
