I cant imagine the graphics being any better than a Playstation 2.
I imagine gameplay being a total new experience though.

 

I need a wee, not a wii.

The graphics on the PS2 really aren't that good, GT4 being about the best I've seen. The resolution on textures really isn't that high, the geometry detail isn't that high. Wii does use cartoony graphics in a lot of games which make it look a bit childish but look at the screnies for red steel and tell me there's anything that nice looking on the PS2.

Yes, but the whole point of the Wii isn't better graphics. Personally, I'm very bored with all that now. Yet another FPS with slightly better textures etc etc... boring.

 

The Wii and wireless controller is a completely different way of playing, and it's ruddy great.

I guess so. Still, I'll stick with my Xbox360 for gaming, that makes both the PC and the PS2 look pants at the moment.

To be honest, the graphics for Red Steel aren't all that. But saying that, they're at least interesting. Black is almost monochrome and I got really bored really quickly of it.

 

The Wii hasn't really shown what it can do for graphical power yet I don't think. Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3 should be some early indication.

I would agree - Red Steel graphics not mind-blowing, but still crisp enough for me and mostly pretty smooth. And yes, I'm sure we've seen little of what it can do so far.

But, I would be fitter.
