Fair enough, its not for everyone. I really enjoy the series though, and PGR was what spurred me to get the original XBox.
Aftermath I'm looking forward to possibly simply due to Dog apparently playing a much larger part, the bits in HL2 with Dog in were the bits I most enjoyed ;-)
There's an interview on joystiq about Oblivion's differences across versions and apparently unless you've got a stupidly powerful PC then the X360 version is the one to get - especially if you have a HDTV.
I'm actually fairly happy about the games drought at the moment though, as I'm concentrating on City of Villains, and toying with the idea of getting X3, both of which are fairly major time-consuming games.
Sensible Soccer is coming back soon, which wont need a high spec pc for :D
Can't wait for that.
I read a interview with the developers and they are trying not to change to much from the original, it will still be basic and fun Lets just hope they stick to it!) We might also see some other old favs come back (cannon fodder and mega lo mania would be ace)
Excellent
Heh, I thought I remembered a thread like this. Thanks for bumping it, Kabbie!
Anyway, post more stuff TECHY PEOPLE. I want a new computer this summer and don't know what to get.

YES THIS >>>> http://tomshardware.co.uk/2006/04/07/going_the_sas_storage_way_uk/page8.html
Hello nice computer people! I think I am going to take the plunge pretty soon after exams, give me something to do in the holidays! >.<
Anyway attached is an image of my basket, but I've never done anything by components before so I'm just checking I don't need to get anything else.
I'm going to rip the sound card out of this one (it does me fine and is 5.1), and maybe one of the CD drives, I've got this monitor, and have yet to add the graphics card as that's the hard one to decide - just depends what money I want to spend overall. But do I need to add shit like IDE cables and whatnots? Also have I picked any hooters that you can spot? :D
Any help much appreciated :)
IDE or SATA cables will come with the mobo usually. Only slight criticism is that it's a fairly cheap mobo. Personal experience suggests that it's always better to spend £70 or so (more the better) in order to get a decent board. Rest looks fine though!
Oh, and also worth noting is that standard AMD coolers tend to be less-than-quiet. I'd reccomend replacing the cooler at some point. Again from personal experience, the Zalman CNPS9500 absolutely rocks bollocks! But you can of course easily do this after you've bought the thing.
