VNC is, yes. Or at least we use it a lot here. When you work in a big 5 storey building with lots of off-site offices too it's dead handy being able to just control the desktop of any PC within seconds.

No, VNC is a program for controlling one PC from another PC.

A recent one our IT guy told me.

One of the other depots were charging an electric fork lift truck off the separate server room mains circuit and wondering why things were tripping out.

That was after they were using about 5 extentions to go outside and power the lights in a pond off the server room mains circuit, also surprised when things tripped.
