You can tell I'm a tight bastard but you're right, the difference isn't too huge. Looks like the Deluxe version is about £15 through various non-russian outlets.

Just paid £5.94 for a Russian key :$

Let's see how it runs on my laptop.

Turns out I didn't buy Deluxe by accident (fail)

Either way, it just works on my laptop with everything turned down. Need to try it on my proper PC, if it works well on Linux.

I don't think Deluxe has much over the standard does it? A few things like Eiffel Tower and that's about it. Meh.
I just lost 80 minutes to the game very easily, it's quite pleasant really. I'm playing at 3620x2263 downsampled with everything maxed out (giggle)

Similar here. My town is progressing nicely. Definitely need to play it with improved graphics and without the lag.

I just edited in what I'm playing it set to. It's not really pushing this computer much at the moment... kinda weird looking game in a way, the depth of field filter they've got on there to make it look like a toy looks quite odd at certain zoom levels and distances.

Is that the tilt-shift setting?

Playing it with a mouse rather than touchpad will make it much better to play.

Titl-shift, that's the bugger. I haven't tried looking to see if I can alter it. And yes, I can't imagine not using a mouse for this. Get it done!

So tempted but just purchased Day-z, Diablo 3 and Arma3 in a sales frenzy.

But £12.99? I must do it.

I bought it yesterday. It's rather good actually! Sort of like SimCity without any of the anti-customer shit that came with the last version. Heck, it even lets you skip the intro video :)

And seriously, it's a fun game too. I especially like that it's ditched the SimCity tradition of charging for zoning land.

It downloading as I type.

Another game to add to the list of games to play (it's getting longer and longer)

I did promise that I was going to at least finish some of the games I got from different sales but that went out of the window this weekend.

FFS, I haven't even finished DeusEx - Human Resources yet :-@

But I'm going to buy this, simply because I played SimCity a few months ago and it crashed a few hours into a decent city and I got so peeved that I refused to play it again. No, of course I hadn't saved it.

edit: next thing you're all going to tell me is that Half Life 3 is due for release. F**k!

Not Half Life 3, but how does a new Deux Ex grab you?

Yeah I know, saw that too... it's really not a good time for me to buy more games, I've got far too much studying to do (for certs)  :'-(

Just to note, I have lost a chunk of gameplay with this because it crashed and I lost about 90 minutes of gameplay.

On the plus side, there's a mod you can get from Steam Workshop that forces it to auto-save every 5 or 10 minutes. I advise using it!

Oooh! Sounds good! I really enjoyed Human Revolution - even more once they provided that patch to tweak the boss fights a bit. Let's hope this one is as good.

Thanks, useful!
I've already wasted about 5-6 hours on it, so easy to lose track of time...
