My only issue with bitdefender is that it tries to block far too many URLs/websites for my liking. I'm sure it's stopped me from using pastebin in the past because it blocks the post.php page (or whatever it is called) when you submit.

I think you may be getting overhet about this. Deep breaths, and stop cruising dodgy URLs you get in unsolicited email.

I had it block all internet traffic on multiple computers.  It all happened within a few days so I think they must have had a bad update go out.  I know I removed it from at least 7 computers.

I think you may be bonkers.
