Still brilliant, forgot a lot of it, damn fine show.
We have the (final) season 2 dvd, we also watched it when it was broadcast. Pretty sure I've never seen the first season. "Fire Walk With Me" is a must see to make any sense of the story. But maybe it's better not to even try.
Never watched the original.
Started watching the new version, it was a bit too weird for me, or I wasn't in the right mood to watch it.
Seen/liked any other Lynch projects?
Yeah, I bought the box set of series 1 & 2 recently. Lynch should have quit after the first series, which was pretty much perfect television.
Likewise. I always think I /should/ get round to watching it, but never seem to find time or the inclination. /:
I don't think so. I should watch more decent movies or TV.
Not sure what his angle was in doing the sequel, if not an uncharacteristic cash cow thing. Finance future projects? Child support?
which sequel are we talking about now?
I pretty much love all three serieses of Twin Peaks. Need to watch the film again as I haven't seen that in aaaages but it definitely had things I liked. The phone call from his house thing stayed with me forever!
The one he just did. I'll watch it if/when it gets released to dvd & our library acquires it. It did get quite good reviews. I suppose I should keep an open mind, but TBH a dottard Kyle McLachlan (etc) is not something I look forward to.
