Was tempted by Tekken 7 on the Xbox store for 30 quid. Then I remembered that normal versions of games are like what demos used to be, except you have to pay 30 quid for them. The deluxe* version that actually includes all the characters is 42 quid. Fuck that.
*I think they mean 'full' version, there's certainly nothing deluxe about it.

We bought an actual Hoover a few years ago for a good price, not on Black Friday. It's super powerful and almost impossible to clog.

Good point.
I'll bet he's been squirreled away for the past year, plotting and preparing this years' Black Friday outing.
If I had to venture out to the sales on this darkest of Fridays, I'd wear one of those inflatable sumo suits. I'd be immune to people pushing and shoving and would have ample room inside the suit to store all my Black Friday purchases. Like a new sumo suit for next years Black Friday.

See, that's what shopping for stuff in sales should be about. You have a need of something, so you look for that thing in an upcoming sale, saving money on the purchase and generally getting a warm cuddly feeling for doing it. Buying something you didn't want, have no need for or something that's been advertised and you now want because it's cheap isn't a bargain, it's an expense you didn't need to make.
I read somewhere that the hardest thing to convince people of is that a bargain costs money.
