Cracking Good deal if you want a desktop drive and of there's any in stock (couldn't see any anywhere in Scotland)

Putting in random places I managed eventually to find one in:
Unit B Wakes Retail Park, River Way
Newport, PO30 5UZ
And one in
Unit 6 Houndstone Retail Park
Yeovil, BA22 8YQ

Judging by the comments on Hot UK Deals it seems it was *fairly* wide spread - even had some available to buy online and on their ebay store

I got one
:-$
I'd ordered a 5TB Seagate initially from Amazon, then realised that the WD Elements is £10 cheaper and has an extra year of warranty...

I nearly bought a Toshiba external drive that was on offer in Tesco (seen it without an offer for the same price since though) and was going to rip the HDD out of it. Luckily I'd found out the drive inside has a proprietary connector soldered to the drive. And the USB connection on it is crap and comes loose causing connection problems.

Not this one, is it?

Planing on plugging it into the xbox and forgetting about it, so as long as the connector lasts for one plugging (NJ) then I guess it's OK.

Same model I think but a 1TB drive instead. I think it should survive one insertion (PJ).
