It was only one patent of ten that was upheld, which HTC are saying is easily fixable, so I doubt it's the Apple camp celebrating, it's good for HTC if anything.

The patent seems to be "clicking on numbers and treating them as phone numbers", which every phone I've had since a Nokia 3330 has been able to do
