Yup, we're away in Lanzarote. Not the best time to be breaking more bits. She needs a chain to keep her still and stop climbing and jumping in silly places :)
ant: Not fun watching the litle ones do things like that :(
FWIW my youngest is like that. But she's only been helicoptered to the Zürich children's hospital once, and that was years ago :/
Broken bones, black eyes... you'll be getting a knock from the Social when you get home :-/
I bet not. Dreading my lad doing it, he's at the stage of hurling himself about giggling, and occasionally that ends in tears after a bump. Have you taken her to the local medics?
Oh no! The poor Sweetling! Maybe you should get her one of those bubble suits that makes you look like the Michelin man. That should keep her bumping, falling, or even drowning. :)
Bubble wrap is cheaper, especially if sourced from used packaging
Haha. Luckily the kids weren't taken away from us when we landed.
Milko: No, kind of wish we had to be sure. My brother in law is used to seeing broken noses and didn't think there was any need and the NHS site said to wait til swelling goes down then see GP if there's any concerns. She looks fine apart from a lump on one side, not sure if that will go down. Might need to get that checked out.
Luckily no helicopter flights yet, apart from a trip I had for Christmas around west Wales. What happened there?
If you're on a mountain you can quite easily end up needing helicoptering off for something relatively innocuous. Tell us, Truffy! It sounds like a story.
My biking friends were quite amazed when I got through our alps MTB trip without needing a single helicopter.
