Full Version: div3 codec

I have an AVI file, and WMP wants "the DIV3 codec".

Is this part of divx or something else?

What's the best place to get it from, bearing in mind:
* Its work laptop so I'll be killed if I install anything dodgy.
* I'm impatient and have a shit slow mobile 3G connection.

Thanks. :)

VLC? There's very few things I've come acros that it won't play - and you can get it without installing, it'll just run from an executable I think.

Aye, I've got a lot of respect for VLC. Smidge clunky in spots, but versatile as fuck. It's a Europroject...

With more fire-power (but not so crash hot at converting DVD to iPod).

And, I dare say, terribly over budget. Whereas VLC is FREE, God love it.
