Full Version: XP validation

I'm at my parents' place and my sister's laptop is complaining that it doesn't have a valid copy of windows. The background is black with the genuine validation message thingy in the bottom left.
I haven't got access to TDamage here, and I haven't got time to reinstall a new OS - is there anyway (or rather an easy way!) I can convince XP that it's actually valid?

I used to use... bum cheeks, I can't remember what it was called... MUBlinder. Had options to fool Windows Update to work and also has WGA removers/patchers.

There's a whole host of various ways. The tool used by MS is called "Windows Genuine Advantage", or WGA for short. Have a search around for WGA XP Removal and you'll find a whole host of simple ways of disabling/nobbling it.
