Well I have had it for a few days now and boy what a difference.
Did not realise just how slow my old machine had got or rather how fast certain tasks could be!
Highlights so far.
Copying files from one HD to another (even external ones over USB)
Sooo quick like less than a minute to transfer a gigabyte. That used to take about 5mins on my old setup.
Unzip/Raring files - Unzips in lightning time.
Just opening up programs much much quicker (although that could be down to Windows 7)
Demigod - Plays at full everything with no stuttering, still not sure I understand what I am doing with it and also if I am even enjoying it but hey ho.
It struggled with BFBC2 but I think that had more to do with the copy I got off Jim.
Now uninstalled.
Would like to see how it gets on with some video conversions, however I have nothing to convert at the mo.
Still looking for another game to get stuck into. thining it might be Mass EffectII
